A lot of books are made into movies but only a few are good. The Harry Potter movies are good while Twilight sucks (pun intended). What I’ve noticed is that I enjoy movies that were made from graphic novels a lot more. V for Vendetta, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Constantine, and Scott Pilgrim were all great movies that were based off of comic books. I told my brother this and he told me that with comics you already know what the characters are going to be like, and what the places are going to look like. While with books they describe what the people look like but a lot of the time they look different in the movies than you thought. Then again I did enjoy The Series of Unfortunate Events and the Harry Potter movies (granted I did not read the books but I’m working on that).
I have enjoyed some movies based off books but I liked more movies based off comics. This is just my opinion though, you can enjoy movies based off of books, I enjoy some but not a lot.
